- I am a self-taught metalsmith and have MFA in visual arts from Vermont College. I am interested in making objects and installations that investigate how social and cultural values are communicated by “things.” I am also co-founder of Ethical Metalsmiths, a not-for-profit organization leading metalsmiths and jewelers in addressing the complex environmental and social issues associated with mining.
