Solid Copper and Sterling Silver. I admire the strenght it takes for nature to flourish in the concrete cities that we have built. Something so soft as a flower is so strong. It is very inspiring.

We're always student :)

Greetings!

My name is Nathalie Girard and I am originally from Quebec City. I now reside with my family in beautiful Calgary, AB.

I have been designing beaded jewelry for the past couple of years, but started goldsmithing a bit over a year ago and there's been no turning back since.

I'm still at the beginning in terms of goldsmithing and I have a lot to learn. I certainly aim to become a professional at this but I know that I have a lot of years of hard work ahead of me to develop into a full-fledge pro. I'm self-taught (thanks to a lot of books and videos - I'm learning a lot from Tim McCreight in particular).

I just created my profile here, and I have added a few pictures with comments for starters. I will be adding more pictures of my work as I go along.

Thank you for your interest in my work :)

Cheers,
Nathalie

Good for you Nathalie!
I studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary.
Maybe in the future you might want to consider studying there...Charles Lewton-Brain as well as the other instructors there are excellent.
Happy Jewellery Making!
Melody
