Metal Arts Guild of Canada

Connect - Communicate - Create

Below is information I just received about this years forum for people with businesses in the Arts. I have attended all of these (once hosting a round table on exporting) and they are truly excellent. Find out what resources there are to assist you - THERE ARE LOTS!

Just keeping you informed about an upcoming event, on Monday March 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street.

Enterprise Toronto will be hosting a full day of activity at the Small Business Arts Forum.

The Small Business Forum is organized in collaboration with Urban Arts, Community Arts Council, Cultural Careers Council of Ontario and others,
brining together an inspiring and informative day to help bring the
Arts into Business.

This is the 3rd annual Small Business Arts Forum that we've hosted. In 2009, the turn out was excellent. There were about 300 participants and we are expecting no less this year.  Farley Flex,
Impresario will be the Keynote speaker, bringing a wealth of experience
in the arts industry.  Art fields to be covered include Visual Arts,
Design and Media. Art/business-related themes will include branding,
contracting, selling, accounting, financing and e-business.   The
objective of this Forum is to provide information to artists and
participants to help them successfully build their arts businesses.

Attached is a poster and brochure about this years event.
Please circulate this notice amongst anyone or group you feel may be interested in attending.
Please don't hesitate to call me with any questions you may have.
Thank you,

Regards,
